For how long have you been trading?

I started trading in 2008. I didn’t trade for some time and I started to trade again last year.

What instruments do you prefer to trade and why?

My favorite instrument is GBP/AUD, because its daily range is big and there is a trend that exchange rate goes back to the previous value.

What schedule (trading hours) do you have for your trading?

I am trading 24 hours per day. That does not mean I am sitting behind the PC. I am checking the market only couple of times per day. Mostly I check it from my mobile phone.

Did you receive personal training from other traders or did you mainly educate yourself on your own?

I have educated myself on my own and learned from others. Best practice is trading on demo/live account.

What do you consider the best type of education for a trader?

Strict money management is the most important quality that trader should master, because sometimes your ego can affect trading results.

Do you create your own strategies or use the ones that already exist? Can you briefly describe your strategy?

Mostly I trade with EAs. Sometimes I also trade manually, depending on the need. I have been back testing my trading strategy on all market conditions. Sometimes have tested it dozens of times to make sure that upgrades to my EA are working. Even though the market is dynamic, at least I get a little “picture” of it.

What is the most important quality a trader should have?

Money management is very important, strict discipline, psychology and always learn from your experience.

How do you deal with losses, does it have an emotional impact on you?

If I lose, sometimes it makes me cranky and upset, it’s money! But maybe this is the price that I have to pay to be successful and get more experience. Don’t be too upset if you get a loss. Get used to the fact that sometimes there could be a loss, but next time there will be profit.

Are you satisfied with our service and is there anything we can improve?

I’m very satisfied with Tickmill’s services. Keep up the good work. More bonuses in the future.
